We welcome the opportunity to share the love of Christ with you and your family. Since 1933, United Institutional Baptist Church has been a strong spiritual presence within this community. From the Civil Rights Movement of the late 1950’s and 1960’s, to the present time, United’s leaders and laity have been at the forefront of the struggle for freedom, justice and equality. From thischurch’s pulpit some of our nations most prominent leaders found renewed strength and encouragementthrough the preaching of the “Ole Time” gospel. This great legacy of nurturing lives and equipping individuals for the cause of Christ and His Kingdom, is our charge.  

Our officers and members stand ready as “a family of God united to share
