From the Pastor's Desk

Dear Members and Friends of United:

This year marks eighty years of ministry in the Piedmont Triad community. God continues to enlarge our borders to reach others. I continue to be amazed by the willingness of our church family to extend themselves to share the love of Christ with others. Through our tutorial program we are able to enrich the minds of young people academically by the contribution of our community development corporation. Our children's and youth ministry are also on the move. Each week we continue to see new faces as we seek to present the message of God's word in fresh and relevant ways. I am also excited about our Senior's Ministry. Every Wednesday our seasoned saints gather for fun, fitness and fellowship. They receive sound bible teaching, relevant information and how about those wonderful road trips. Truly there is something for everyone here at United.

This spring we begin our church expansion project. God has blessed us to realize a much needed addition to our church facilities. We have prayed much and labored long for this day and now the vision becomes reality. It is our prayer that the new addition will allow our church to become more accessible and convenient for our members and the community. Please continue to pray for us and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you in supporting this effort for God's glory. On behalf of the Freeman family may God continue to show His favor upon all who are a part of this GREAT FAMILY OF GOD!
